~ Zero after the play proves to be a success |
Zero Jones is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He is the set designer for Red Johnny Mac's rock opera, Beauty and the Beast.
History[]
Shortly after arriving to London and being welcomed by Red Johnny Mac to perform in his upcoming rock opera, Beauty and the Beast, Jem and The Holograms are introduced by the young producer to the play's set designer, Zero Jones, from Malibu, California, and Yoji Yokomura, a techno artist. Both members of the staff seem to work along well; after seeing Yoji's proposed design for the Beast, Zero, on his part, proposes that the castle could be a power plant castle with a giant turbine engine in the living room, much to Jem's astonishment, but at the same time intrigued how it could turn into something beautiful.
Zero does reveal his new set in the next few days, which just as he said, consists of two giant turbine engines with a long banquet table sitting in front of them, and whose special effects are managed from backstage by Yoji through a computer, everything much to the girls approval.
Zero is seen again later, congratulating Johnny after the play's preview night turns out to be a big success.
