Ron Cox is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He appears in the episodes The Jem Jam, parts 1 and 2. He is a solo artist who is famous for his unique voice and charismatic dance moves.
He was one of the guest music celebrities invited to perform at the "Jem Jam".

Ron has long brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a light blue button-up shirt, a bright blue jacket and mustard yellow pants. He has a defined jaw and strong pout, very similar to the celebrity he was based on.

- Ron Cox is based on the famous English rock legend, Mick Jagger, who is the lead singer of the "greatest rock and roll band" The Rolling Stones. Their album Sticky Fingers has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
- In the series, Jem gives him the nickname "Mr. Lips and Hips", which differs from Jagger's nicknames which are "Your Majesty" and "Brenda".
- Ron makes a brief cameo return in the episode Riot's Hope, where he can be seen partaking in a party thrown by The Stingers. Other guest stars from the Jem Jam episodes can also be seen among the crowd too.
