Rodney and The Rockets is a minor band in the Jem animated series. They are three thuggish "musicians" who appear to act as a gang, and to whom young music promoter Red Johnny Mac supposedly owes money.

Rodney and The Rockets are some form of rock band that was managed (out of force) by young music promoter Red Johnny Mac. More than a music band, however, they have a thuggish appearance and act accordingly. They pay a visit to Johnny at his office, who is quickly attempting to book them a new gig. Unfortunately, the phone call with the person who was supposed to hire them seems to be going badly, as they tell him they're only interested in new faces. The Rockets enter the office as Johnny has seemingly failed to book them anything, therefore becoming indebted to them following their logic. Rodney grabs Johnny by the lapels of his jacket and demands their money, who replies that he doesn't have it and, seeing himself cornered, he escapes from his grasp, jumps out of the window and escapes.
