Pierre L'Arquette is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He features in the 45th episode, Mardi Gras. He introduces himself as a liaison with a steamer crew, but later on in the episode is revealed to be working as an undercover detective.
He was voiced by Townsend Coleman.
History[]
Pierre is portrayed as a confident and handsome man who seems oblivious to rejection. He meets Jem and The Holograms aboard the Dixie Lady, and he is quickly interested in Shana. She tells him that she already has a boyfriend, as seen in the picture inside the locket she wears. She rejects his advances, although this doesn't deter him from flirting with her every chance he gets.
Pierre tells The Holograms their hotel's location, and in the night he bumps into Shana after she has her locket stolen by an unknown creature. Despite her haste to find the rest of the group, he attempts to make another move on her. He doesn't appear to take her situation seriously, but feels guilty later on for making fun of her and shows signs of remorse and that he truly does care about Shana.
At the end of the episode, he uncovers the thief of the jewels that have slowly been disappearing. He accepts Jem's apology for her accusations about him being a thief, but states that if he was, he would steal Shana's heart, and kisses her.
Appearance[]
Pierre has dark brown eyes, black hair and a thick mustache. He wears two outfits in the only episode where he appears in. The first is a pirate costume with a light blue shirt and a red bandanna. The second outfit is smart attire, which is a dark blue suit.
