Mr. Wellington is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He is the head of the City's Historical Society.
History[]
Using bribes to make the area where the building Bobby Bailey and other tenants were living in be declared a commercial zone, Eric Raymond was finally able to tear the structure down. The day of the demolition, Eric himself was driving one of the bulldozers and leading the other men, but just when he was about to succeed in this act, Kimber arrived followed by an unknown man, and demanded the incursion to stop, as from that moment it was against the law to damage the building, holding up a document to prove so.
Hearing this, Raymond told his men to stop and climbed off the vehicle to look at the document up close. It's at this point that the mysterious man presented himself as Mr. Wellington, head of the City's Historical Society. He then explained to Raymond that because the building was a small museum of rock and roll history, it had been declared a historical landmark, and as such, it could never be demolished.
