Mama Pama Bama

Gypsy Mama Pama Bama is a minor character in the Jem animated series. She is only in the 16th episode, Broadway Magic, for a short time. She is a gypsy who pretends to be a fortune teller in an attempt to discover Jem's real name.

History[]

Mama Pama Bama is a fake fortune-teller in New York, who somehow gets backstage to try and trick Jem into telling her real name. She has a counterfeit crystal ball, which she tries to use to get Jem sleepy enough to reveal her identity, in the hopes of winning the $100,000 award from Eric Raymond for finding out the truth. However, the ball does not work and instead backfires as the gypsy ends up feeling tired instead. Bob Merrit, who is in charge of the Broadway show, forces Mama and the rest of the reporters out after having enough of the interruptions.
