Jerry is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He was the main vocalist, lead guitarist and leader of the rock band Nirvana.
History[]
Jerry was the main vocalist and lead guitarist of a rock band named Nirvana. Whenever army cadet Rory Llewelyn had a pass from his military duties, he would go to see them perform at a local club. One day, Jerry had an argument with Ralph, the backup guitarist, because of his constant tardiness, and fired him from the band. Without knowing how they would perform that night, Rory stepped up and offered to fill the void. The audience loved his playing style, so Jerry offered him to join them in their upcoming tour through Europe. Rory accepted and became known from that point onward under the stage name of "Riot".
When the band returned to Germany, Riot got arrested for leaving the army without permission and was discharged from service. After this setback, he returned to the band in Europe, although it wouldn't take long before he entered in an argument with Jerry and decided to quit the band. Minx, the band's keyboardist, decided to go with him and leave the band too. It's unknown what happened to Jerry and Nirvana afterward, but without two of its members, it's probable they disbanded shortly after.
