Jem is a music theme composed by Ninni Carucci, with lyrics by Alessandra Valeri Manera, and performed by Cristina D'Avena. Jem first aired in Italy as 15 minute episodes, with the original "Jem Theme", from March 8 to June 14, 1987 on Italia 1 Channel. From September 14 that same year, the 20 minute episodes aired four times a week, which is where this Italian theme replaced the original English opening theme.[1]
