Jeff Wright

Jeff Wright is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He is a stuntman and another one of Kimber's boyfriends. He is one of her most prominent suitors in the series besides Sean Harrison.

He was voiced by Michael Horton.

History[]

Jeff is hot-headed, very athletic and carefree. He first appeared in the Starbright episodes, where he acts as stuntman double for the famous Hollywood actor, Nick Mann. Jeff immediately falls for Kimber after seeing her for the first time and constantly tries to flirt with her, although she initially doesn't show any interest in him because she is deeply infatuated by the handsome actor Nick, likely seeing Jeff just as a copy of him and rejecting his advances at first. Noticing this, Roxy tries a few times to seduce Jeff, although he doesn't correspond to her attentions. However, when Kimber realizes how self-centered and sometimes even rude Nick can be, she quickly changes her mind and opens up to Jeff. She learns to really like him after he risks his own life to save her from a series explosions that went out of control while filming a scene on the set of the movie that Jem and The Holograms were starring in.

Jeff later reappears in the Hollywood Jem episodes, where he actually proposes marriage to Kimber, although they both agree that wasn't right and the wedding is called off during the ceremony.

In the episode Glitter and Gold, Jeff appears with black hair instead of his usual blond. This was probably an oversight by the animation team.
