Not to be confused with Giselle Dvorak.

Gisele is a minor character in the Jem animated series. She appears in Hot Time in Hawaii. She is a huge fan of Jem and The Holograms, trying to meet them when they visit for the "Battle of the Music Stars" in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she lives.

History[]

Gisele is first seen hiding behind some rocks on a beach in Honolulu, Hawaii, trying to meet Jem and The Holograms. She found out they were taking part in the "Battle of the Music Stars" and wanted to get their autographs. She first spots Kimber on the beach, who is looking for her current fling, Steve. As she approaches Kimber to get her autograph, Zipper grabs her and kidnaps her, quickly taking her inside a volcano on the island. Gisele quietly follows, waiting in the shadows as he ties Kimber and leaves her by herself. Suddenly, the volcano starts to erupt, and Gisele rushes back to the beach to tell Jem what has happened. She arrives out of breath, and Jem politely ushers her away, thinking she is just a fan who wants her autograph. Gisele remains adamant, and leads Jem, Steve and The Holograms to Kimber's location. They manage to escape the volcano safely, before the group realize it is morning and they will have missed the big swimming event.

After the competition has ended, Zipper gets arrested after it is revealed he was the one to kidnap Kimber. He rats out The Misfits, telling authorities and Don Lo that he helped them cheat in every event, and the kidnapping was part of an elaborate plan to ensure The Misfits won the competition. Gisele discovers the tampered equipment and shows them to Don Lo, who disqualifies The Misfits and announces Jem and The Holograms as the winners.

At the Governor's mansion performance, Jem wins the trophy - but out of respect and admiration, hands it to Gisele who she believes is more deserving after she helped them find Kimber and proved The Misfits to be guilty. As a fan, Gisele is in disbelief, but gleefully accepts the award.

Personality[]

Gisele is a smart, quick-thinker who puts other's needs before her own. She uses her knowledge and memory of the island to help Kimber's friends lead her to safety, and knows to provide evidence when The Misfits are accused of cheating. She is also a huge fan of Jem and The Holograms, who she initially wants to sign her autograph book before things get out of hand, and celebrates their successes. She appears to be timid but stands her ground when it comes to doing the right thing.
