Giri

Giri is an all-girl music band that appears in the Jem animated series. They have no speaking roles in the series, but are nominated to participate in the Cassini rock fashion video during In Stitches.

Lineup[]

Giri consists of four members, and are known for their geisha-inspired fashion. The lead singer and guitarist both wear traditional white foundation known as oshiroi, paired with red and black eye makeup and red lipstick. Their outfits are influenced by both rock and geisha fashion, with floral patterns placed on brightly colored fabrics.

The name of their band, Giri derives from their Japanese culture, meaning "duty" or "obligation".
They follow traditional Geisha fashion.
