~ Georgia in Starbright (Part 1) |
Georgia is a minor character in the Jem animated series. She is the head of the makeup department at World Studios, hired by the production of the movie Starbright, starred by Jem and The Holograms.
History[]
Georgia is an employee working as head of the makeup department at World Studios. She was a member of the staff hired to work during the production of the film Starbright, starred by Jem and The Holograms. However, the company was unexpectedly sold to multimillionaire tycoon, Harvey Gabor, and the production was put under the management of Eric Raymond.
The new administration put The Misfits as costars in the movie. Not wanting The Holograms to upstage their act, Pizzazz started to spread rumors among the crew that they were a bunch of snobs. When it took Jem's turn to get her makeup done, she had to excuse herself to Georgia, saying that she had to do her own makeup - this in order to prevent the Jem hologram to be exposed. This convinced Georgia that what Pizzazz was telling was true. Other similar incidents further supported Georgia's belief that The Holograms were indeed very self-centered, including when they quit the production, taking it as Jem just throwing a fit.
Georgia would play another important role along The Misfits' plans to sabotage The Holograms' movie. Pizzazz asked her to come up with a disguise for Clash in order to make her unrecognizable, alleging it was for their film. Georgia replied that she hadn't been given any notification about it, but ultimately had no other option than to comply to Pizzazz's demands.
However, as the working conditions for the now Misfits' movie quickly started to deteriorate after the departure of most of the crew, Georgia slowly started to realize how wrong she was about The Holograms; and when her own time came to also quit the production, she went to Starlight Mansion to apologize to them and ask if they would take her in their new movie project, to which Jem gladly accepted.
This new addition to the crew actually turned to be pivotal for the success of the new Starbright film, as it was Georgia herself who recognized Clash stealing their equipment under the disguise she had made for her, exposing her just in time for the staff to retrieve the assets and continue with the filming, which in the end turned out to be a huge success.
