Dimitrios is a minor character in the Jem animated series. He is the Royal Secretary of Morvania. He, along with Lexa, Princess Adriana's cousin, plan to assassinate the latter before she turns eighteen and is crowned the new queen, so they can seize the power for themselves and rule over the country.
He was voiced by Philip L. Clarke.
History[]
With the impending coronation of Princess Adriana as the new queen of Morvania when she turns eighteen, her cousin and mentor, Lexa, plans to assassinate her in order to seize that power for herself. For this end, she procures the help of Adriana's Royal Secretary, Dimitrios.
Dimitrios is a mature and well built man who won't stop at nothing to comply with Lexa's orders and gain the resulting benefits for himself. Taking advantage of one of Adriana's escapades, he and his henchmen follow her and attempt to kidnap her. However, they end up capturing Kimber instead, as both are almost exact lookalikes. Fortunately, Kimber later manages to escape.
After realizing that the real Adriana will perform with The Holograms that night at their concert, Lexa and Dimitrios devise a plan to kill her by planting a set of explosives inside an ornamental dragon that will sit on the stage where the event will take place.
Eric Raymond and The Misfits arrive at the castle at that moment and try to impress the royal family to hopefully be given The Holograms' place at the concert. Lexa and Dimitrios take advantage of this situation and use them to capture Kimber a second time.
Eric and The Misfits later learn of Lexa's plan to kill Adriana (and The Holograms) and they make haste to the castle's theater to alert the guards that a bomb has been planted on the stage.
In a last attempt to obtain the crown, Lexa tries to force Adriana into abdicating or she'll instruct Dimitrios to kill Kimber, but thanks to Jem and Synergy, the guards manage to arrest both Lexa and Dimitrios.
