• "Designing Woman" is also the name of a Smashin' Fashion.
• Jem makes an appearance in this video, even though in the episode she decided to wait outside of the shoe store while Shana shopped. There is no sign of Aja or Kimber during this video.
• Interestingly, this song came on Jetta's cassette, even though she was not introduced until sometime after the episode this song appeared in.
• The title of this song is probably a reference to the show Desigining Women, which came out the same year as the episode In Stitches.
