Alfred White is a mentioned character in the Jem animated series. He was an illusionist who studied under legendary escapist Houdini, and who later passed down all this knowledge to Astral.
History[]
Alfred only appears in the music video for "She's Got The Power" from the episode That Old Houdini Magic. He doesn't have any dialogues and only appears during a flashback, teaching Astral how to pick the lock of her handcuffs while practicing an escapism act.
White was a student under the legendary illusionist Houdini. During his elderly days, he was living in Phoenix, Arizona (although it's unknown if he hailed from there), where at one point the Eldrich family moved in and settled right next door to his. Since she was a little child, Maeve (Astral) got very interested in magic and Alfred taught her everything he had learned from Houdini.
It is unknown if White is still alive; the last thing that's known of him is that he was already in his nineties by the time he completed Astral's training during her young adult years.
