In a Season 5 episode of the show "Ghost Adventures" when the team investigate the abandoned psychiatric hospital called Letchworth Village in Rockland County New York City they showed a Jem mask, when a couple was talking about finding baby items, toys and Halloween costumes in one of the buildings.
As you may have noticed, due to some events that have been happening in the wiki for several months until now, it has been decided to temporarily turn off commenting on pages. Comments should be used mainly to contribute and enrich an article, spamming and/or fighting between users is not allowed.
There are off-topic forums, like the Fun and Games board, where people can discuss matters not relevant to the wiki. Additionally, we count with a Live! Chat where people can talk freely about almost any topic and with very few restrictions.
Since I am the only active staff currently taking care of the wiki and I don't have any other people with which to discuss these matters, it sometimes falls on me having to take hard decisions like this, but at the end of the day, it is all with the purpose of making the wiki as useful and professional as possible for most of our visitors.
Restoring comments on pages is programmed to take effect in about one week from today.
saw the movie a while back. and and aside from some disappointment, it just occurred to me it could use that as the basis for improving on a sequel
like its taken 30 years for them to finally make a movie about the series... and they went too hard trying to make it fit in with todays internet culture and a girl getting a lucky break, but at least they made a movie of it
they can do better in a sequel, plucking ideas from the series
like eric raymond getting removed from the company, only to sell his house and buy his own business misfits music.... the could have erica raymond do this, sell her house, fund her own business from scratch, and take a gamble recruiting a new band called the misfits to rival jem
id hope stick with the classic lineup of pizzaz roxy stormer and the original caucasian version of Jetta (not like the comics ebony version) and have clash as the groupie / sabotuer to try sabotaging jem

I probably speak for everyone when I ask this question, but wouldn't it be great if they picked up where the Jem cartoon left off? New episodes, new characters, new songs, etc.? I think it would be great.
It has come to my attention that one article in particular has been causing some controversy. I'm talking about the Jiz page, which is about a web comedy show that uses scenes from the Jem animated series and overdubs it with obscene language and controversial themes for comedic purposes.
Being that a wiki's main objective is to keep record and organize all possible information regarding a particular topic, that would mean that all of its contents should ideally be derived from official products only, in order to avoid providing the reader with false information which may deviate from what the original authors had envisioned.
In this case in particular, the themes and language used could offend some people. Let's keep in mind that many of our readers are still little children who have just been introduced to the franchise or adults who have fond memories of the series and what it stood for.
On the other hand, it should also be taken into consideration that whoever created that page, put a lot of effort in it. I've also read some comments from people who find it funny and would like it to stay. Personally, I believe that the page should be moved, although not so much for its controversial content but because it falls in the category of "fandom", being in no way related to an official Jem product.
What I'm proposing, is to move the page to the forums and treat it just like a thread, no longer being considered as part of the wiki. However, you, the readers, should have the final word on this matter and decide for yourselves if it should stay or not.

We gotta get to this, eventually, but what possessed the filmmakers to turn Synergy from an awesome supercomputer to a hand-sized robot that disgraces one of the most important aspects of the franchise?

It has come to my attention that the category "Jem Universe" is one of the most popular among editors, as many articles are frequently added into this category. However, maybe its intended usage is not clear for some users, so I'll try to elaborate on the topic.
This category is intended to include the most basic elements within the fictitious world the characters of Jem live in. Think of it as a category that lists the highest level of a certain thing and from there it works down to most specific variants.
For example, "Vehicles" is included in "Jem Universe" because we're talking about cars or other vehicles in general. Adding the Rockin' Roadster would be incorrect, as it is already included in the "Vehicles" category. Otherwise, then almost every article within the wiki (characters, locations, organizations, etc.) would have to be added to the "Jem Universe" category, making useless the purpose of narrowing results in searches by using a certain criteria.
A small exception is the Jem Bible page, which is included into this category and not considered to be in the Merchandise page because it is an autonomous document that dictates the rules of the world of Jem.
I can feel for one of the girl, that Jem helps, at the time of the show I was have in real life lazer work done on my left eye. To close pinhole in back of my eye. The year before I had a work done on my otther eye. A year later more work. so I can feel for her. more later.
A low qulity 2nd trailer for the Jem movie has been uploaded which shows Senergy is a small toy robot that makes beeping sounds intested of talking. same lame plot same crappy music.
Just saw on the wikipedia section of the Jem franchise, that as of March 20th 2014, its been annonuced that they are going to make a live-action Jem movie
its directed by the same guy who made the bad GI Joe live action movie and 2 terible justn bieber movies, but heres hoping it turns out good
